Soul Rebel Digest Vol 12.24
πSleigh your goals this festive season! π
As we spoke about in the November Digest, ENJOY your festive season!
But it's still a great time to be working on achieving your goals!
So your December Digest is about perspective:
Now obviously this is based off a lunch & dinner Christmas Day, let's call this average. Some people also celebrate Boxing Day, maybe there's a work Christmas Party in there or a birthday or maybe you're lucky enough to have left overs for a few days, but you get the point - enjoy yourself, without letting those indulgent foods make their way into every other meal within your week.
Let's zoom out again:
I hope the above image helps people to realise a couple of meals across the month, no biggie!
In the November volume of The Digest I also spoke about ensuring you're filling the meals between celebrations with whole foods, this will let your body feel nourished, which means having more energy, better moods & less intense cravings.
If all you eat are those delicious indulgent foods, you're body - although getting more than enough calories & feeling full - likely isn't getting the micronutrients, vitamins & minerals it needs from whole foods, so it can make you feel SUPER hungry (or HANGRY) the next day, again leading to low mood, feeling lethargic & making poor decisions = having less fun.
So to make your festive season indulgent yet fun & memorable, remember these tips:
Eat whole foods every chance you get!
Stay hydrated!
Train in classes as often as you can (in absolute honesty, too many people prioritise this less this time of year, yet it's what can help them manage stress levels, release hapy hormones & burn off excess energy!)
